"When we were looking for a voice for a feature-length documentary about our international charity work, we knew we wanted warmth, clarity, sobriety, gravitas and subtlety. As we are working in disaster relief and tackling many social ills, there are a lot of hard subjects and the narrator had to be able to handle these topics respectfully and without being overly dramatic. We wanted the voice to handle the topics and the individuals covered in a respectful way, capturing the depth of suffering pervading the lives of the people and communities we serve, but also allowing for an element of hope and recognition of the reality of the good work that is being done on the ground.
